At Freepik, we’re all about diving into new tech and using it to make our platform even better. Right now, the market’s going through some big changes and we’re jumping in headfirst and leading the AI wave. It’s a pretty fresh space and you learn best by rolling up your sleeves and getting stuck in – that’s why we encourage our team to dream big with AI and provide support to bring those dreams to life. Just in the last couple of months, we’ve launched Pikaso (sketch-to-image platform), AI image generator (text-to-image tool) and Reimagine (AI image-to-image solution). Together, they form an impressive and powerful suite of AI solutions.
Can you share some insights into how AI technology is transforming the quality, efficiency, and creativity of visual resources?
AI is a game-changer for creatives, offering more than just improved image quality and streamlined workflows. It’s unlocking entirely new avenues of creative expression, revolutionizing the way artists and designers bring their visions to life. How do you engage with the creative community to gather feedback and insights that inform the development of new AI solutions and features?
We’re all about receiving feedback to help make our solutions better and to ultimately support the creative community. That’s why we’ve created an AI partners program which allows us to give users early access to our latest AI innovations as beta testers. The goal is to get feedback and insights so we can fine-tune our AI solutions before we officially roll them out. We want to make sure they’re spot-on and deliver maximum value to our community. Our AI partners are absolute game-changers in shaping the future of our products. Their expertise and feedback are invaluable.
Looking ahead, what do you see as the most exciting possibilities that AI technology holds for the future of visual resources?
AI is set to keep revolutionizing visual resources. Not only will the speed of content creation continue to become faster, but the quality and detail of the images being created will also get a big boost. AI can even bring artists together to collaborate as it allows them to transform photos into art or tweak visuals to fit different styles. The possibilities are endless.
How do you anticipate Freepik’s role evolving in shaping the future landscape of AI-driven visual content creation and distribution?
We are constantly thinking of ways AI can take our platform to the next level and empower creatives to generate designs faster. Keeping this vision top of mind, we plan to continue rolling out AI tools and innovations to support our overall AI suite. We have recently acquired leading AI image upscaler, Magnific, with the goal of further unleashing the power of tech and creativity. Together, we’re making creativity more efficient and downright awesome.
